SONNY ROLLINS: "A NIGHT AT THE VILLAGE VANGUARD" LP - On BLUE NOTE Records, #1581. Extremely rare vintage jazz Lp - in outstanding condition! Original MONO pressing with the classic Blue & White labels and the 47 WEST 63RD NYC address on both labels. The label is DEEP GROOVE on both sides. "EAR" etched and RVG stamped in the trail-off on both sides. Thick vinyl, thick laminated cardboard cover. The personnel: Sonny Rollins/tenor sax; Wilbur Ware/bass; Elvin Jones/drums; Donald Bailey/bass; Pete La Roca/drums. The vinyl is in phenomenal NM condition (beautiful sheen). The thick laminated cover is in excellent shape & displays nicely. Some of top seam taped very discreetly. No cut-out marks, and the front cover graphics are particularly striking.
