SONNY CLARK TRIO LP - On Blue Note Records, #1579. Extremely rare vintage jazz Lp from 1958. Original MONO pressing with the classic Blue & White labels and the 47 WEST 63RD NYC address on the labels. The label is DEEP GROOVE on both sides with the EAR and "RVG" stamp in the trail-off on both sides. Matrix number is hand-etched on both sides. Thick vinyl, thick laminated cardboard cover. The personnel: Sonny Clark/piano; Paul Chambers/bass; "Philly" Joe Jones/drums. The vinyl is EX+++, close to NM, has beautiful sheen with just a few light sleeve marks. The cover is in excellent shape and displays nicely. NO seam splits, NO writing, NO cut-out marks of any kind. The front cover graphics are particularly striking. Address on back cover is 47 West 63rd St., New York 23. The songs are: Be-Bop; I Didn't Know What Time It Was; Two Bass Hit; Tadd's Delight; Softly As In A Morning Sunrise; I'll Remember April.
