SONIC YOUTH - THE ETERNAL 12"/LP HQ-180G VINYL GATEFOLD ORIGINAL 2009 PRESSING FIRST EDITION WITH COVER ART INSERT STICKER AND FREE DOWNLOAD OF ALBUM INSERT INCLUDED. MATADOR RECORDS OLE 829-1.  MASTERED AT STERLING SOUND, NYC.   Matrix runoff numbers in dead wax = OLE-829-1A  RJ STERLING 18213.1(3),  OLE-829-1B  RJ STERLING  18213.2(3),   OLE-829-1C  RJ STERLING  18213.3(3),   OLE-829-1D RE1  RJ STERLING 1   18213.4(3)...     Gatefold cover (VG+) is of super thick high grade quality cardboard with a glossy and matte finish. Front of the cover has a ding top left corner and a 1 1/4" split top right corner at seam. There's a crease line bottom left area near artists signature at spine and 2 crease lines near 'the eternal' bottom middle area and a bend line bottom right area. There's no scratches on the front of the cover.  Interior of the gatefold is clean and in nice condition with a bend line bottom right area and a small 1/4" split bottom right corner. Back of the cover has a small wear mark top right corner and no scratches on the back of the cover. The spine is clear and legible. The cover is encased in a plastic sleeve with a Matador Records sticker announcing a free download of the album and also a premium HQ-180 grade hype sticker. Plastic sleeve also has a record store price tag sticker on front and plastic sleeve has been opened. There's 2 art inner paper sleeves (EX)that are super thick high grade quality and are in great shape with no corner dings or splits. Vinyl (VG+) is super thick 180G with side 1 having some brush marks from the sleeve and 2 visual scratch lines at middle of second and through third tracks, but no skipping. Vinyl side 2 has some brush marks and no scratches. Vinyl side 3 has some brush lines from sleeve and side 4 has very light brush marks. Also included are a cover art sticker insert (G+) that has a bend line going through bottom area and a small bend line top left corner. Also included is a free download of the album paper insert. The sound dynamics on this album are strong and clear with no skipping and very light surface noise noticed at quiet segments. LP has only been played once but those thick sleeves did create a visual of brush marks on the vinyl. Must mention this original 2009 pressing beautiful gatefold cover art and art inner sleeves with super thick HQ-180 Vinyl, packaging is gorgeous, thick and heavy!   Message with any questions and thanks for looking!
