Description
SONIC ARTS UNION : Electric Sound LP (Mainstream [USA] MS 5010) 1972.
Record is excellent with minimal light sleeve scuffs only. Gatefold cover is VG with a bit of red underlining on the inside text, light ring wear, a tear/separation at the top-right corner of the inside, and some wear and tear to the seams, including a 1" split at the edge of the bottom, a 1" tear in the middle of the top, and a 1" tear in the middle of the spine. All that probably makes it sound worse than it is; it actually doesn't look too bad overall (see photos).
Original copy of the only recording ever released by this historic electronic music quartet, issued during the second phase of the remarkable "Contemporary Sound" series of LPs (supervised by Earle Brown). One composition by each member: Alvin Lucier, Robert Ashley, David Behrman, and Gordon Mumma.
