"SONGS BY JANE POWELL" MGM STAR DEBUT 78RPM ALBUM AUTOGRAPHED HOLIDAY IN MEXICO. In about 1983-4 I was working in the 7th Floor Beauty Salon at Marshall Fields on State Street in Chicago and I heard that Jane Powell was coming to do an endorsement for the store. I went upstairs and met her. I took along my set of 78rpm records which is her debut album. When I showed it to her I was mostly speechless and she asked me, "What do you want me to do with this?" "Could you please sign it for me?" She laughed and did so endorsing it to me. She had never seen this album as it was her FIRST recording. I sent her a tape of the set. Was so glad to have met such a wonderful lady.Condition is good. Binding is good with some wear to the spine. Also is her manager's business card where I sent the tape.
