Description
HERE'S a double-dose of obligingly hot late 1920s jazz from two prominent and very different bands:
"SOME OF THESE DAYS" by the ORIGINAL INDIANA FIVE. Holding up the tradition of Italian-American jazz are TOM MORTON (drums, kazoo and vocal), TONY TORTOMAS (trumpet) PETE PELLIZZI (trombone), NICK VITALO (clarinet), HARRY FORD (piano), TONY COLUCCI (banjo) and an unknown bass sax player.
"JUST ANOTHER DAY WASTED AWAY (Thinking of You)" by the GOLDEN GATE ORCHESTRA, a.k.a. The California Ramblers. This has ADRIAN ROLLINI whipping out his mallets for a half-chorus on xylophone. He got famous as a vibes player in the '30s. This, as far as I know, is Rollini's first excursion on record with his educated mallets, and he already is "Some Hot."
This original 1927 Brown-Wax Domino is in serviceable V++ condition. It has a nasty crack, expertly repaired, which hardly sounds at all.

These records come from my private collection, which I have been accumulating since 1967, and now am downsizing! My highest priority in these eBay auctions is to give you the best possible idea of a record’s true condition and aesthetic value. I always post at least four clear images, showing the record fore and aft, a close-up of the label, and the whole disc, warts and all. If my purple prose won’t cut it, the pictures will! Shipping is done with expert care. Your record will brave Media Mail in a stout corregated box, between four sheets of cardboard and a couple of “packers.” I hope you are amused by these descriptions, and by the quality of service being offered.
