The Somali recording was made among the Dankeles tribe.  

The song is actually entitled 'Kalo oualé' (which is not on the label). 

The female prophet praises those who come back in victory and warns the ones who may fall,

while the warriors accompany her with humming and murmurs.

The Togo recording is actually entitled, 'Djelouweyi wouikeahlanou' (which is not on the label).

It is a magc song to make rain. It is a recording of a very primitive magic, because it is

sypathetic magic by imitating the sounds of the rain on roofs and trees so as to make friends

with the spirits of the rain.

needle, using no noise reduction for grading. 
Grading scale for 78s according to VJM standards: N- E+ E E- VG+ VG VG- G+

cardboard, then use bubble wrap around and pack inside a sturdy record mailing box with
