Description
Promotion copy of 1974 movie soundtrack " SOLOMON KING " - written, directed and starring Sal Watts.
Music arranged and conducted by Jimmy Lewis for Sal/Wa Records - both sides have clean white labels. ( see scans ).
Side One is a single long track, " Theme From Solomon King " 11:44 ( Shaft-like grooves ) and looks & plays Near Mint.
Side Two has 5 soul tracks and has a couple light scuffs that will not affect great play.
The jacket is the same image both sides. Front cover has marker damage to the SOLOMON KING logo and both sides show age, ring wear,
and slight edge and corner wear, but no seam splitting. ( see scans ). This is superb vinyl inside a slightly worn jacket.
This is an original Lp from 1974 that came from an estate box full of 60's & 70's soul and jazz records near Oakland, CA, where it was produced.
This copy has trail-off markings ( for sides one & two ) of " SAS-1001-2 S 4511 " & " SAS-1001-2 S 4512 ".
The 1999 re-issue LP ( which this is not ) has different trail-off markings ( ref Discogs ).

M ........ Only if sealed.
NM ...... Exceptional sound quality with very light or no visual signs of use.
VG++ ... Almost NM, but may have minimal sleeve scuffing or hairline scratches.
VG+ ..... Scuffing or hairlines, light surface noise, minimal pops, no skips. Still a worry-free listening experience.
VG ....... Scratches, scuffs, some popping, no skips. Surface noise more obvious, but play is reliable.
G ........ Acceptable if you have nothing better or want the cover. Should play entire side without your having to get up to help it along.
