Description

Beautiful copy of the super-rare original 1968 mono pressing of Solomon Burke’s King Solomon LP on Atlantic 8158. This was one of the last mono pressings Atlantic made, if not the last. Very rare to find a 1968 mono pressing! Original pink and plum labels and 60s Atlantic inner sleeve. The disc is quite beautiful and plays just about flawlessly and gorgeously. There are a few entirely superficial scuffs and light marks but really not much, and they really are superficial and don’t make the slightest sound. It plays just about perfectly all the way through. Stunning listen. The cover is similarly beautiful, with only the slightest signs of use. No ringwear, no seam splits. Really a top, top copy inside and out. Just about impossible to beat.
