Solaris - 1990
[PEPITA SLPM 37310-11]
The double 1990 contains typical SOLARIS songs: dynamic and propulsive with spectacular synth runs, fiery electric gutiar and beautiful flute-play. Remarkable is the spacy keyboard sound in some songs and the obvious classical influences. The tracks from the mid-period (1986) sound rather accessible: a catchy and often funny combination of classic, pop and rock. But the most impressive composition is their magnus opus "Los Angeles 2026" (almost 24 minutes long): lots of changing climates, bombastic synthesizers, exciting interplay, compelling crescendos and halfway a long and alternating pianosolo.
The records are in M- condition and the cover is M- too.
Grading:
Grading is VISUAL; occasional play-grading will be noted. M : Mint. Only when the record is sealed.
NM : Near Mint.
Record = is as good as new and clear. May have some minor paper scuffs or tiny hairlines.
Cover = as new with maybe the slightest signs of wear on corners, edges, spine or surface.
EX : Excellent.
Record = Still very clear with a few hairlines and some small scuffs.
Cover = there is a bit wear on corners, edges and surface.
VG+ : Very Good+.
Record = clear but you can see some hairlines and/or some small scuffs across the surface.
Cover = is still looking good but there is some wear, on corners & edges,slight creasing. There is a bit ring-wear and a small green tag on the front-side. without any major defects, is acceptable.
VG : Very Good.
Record = There are lines, scuffs and/or swipes across the surface.
Cover = there is real wear on corners, edges and spine. There are splits in the seams, serious ring-wear or surface-wear, small mark from a price sticker.
G : Good.
Record = when I put a record on Ebay with this grade then it well be a very rare one. In that case I will describe the imperfections on this record in detail.
Cover = this cover has been mended to keep it from falling apart. Look at the photo to have a better idea of the condition.
