ORIGINAL UK CBS (65799) FIRST PRESSING (May 1974) OF SOFT MACHINE'S "Seven" - IN EXCEPTIONAL CONDITION - I DON'T THINK IT HAS EVER BEEN PLAYED - THERE ARE NO SPINDLE TRACES TO THE LABELS, THE VINYL SURFACES ARE UNMARKED AND SHINE LIKE NEW AND THE AUDIO DELIVERY (ON MY SYSTEM - AT A LOUD VOLUME) IS AS GOOD AS IT GETS - FANTASTIC COPY (THE FINEST I HAVE SEEN) AND VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED INDEED

LABELS: The labels are clean, bright and unmarked with no evident spindles or signs of use - in my opinion this copy may have never been played - MINT
VINYL Visual: Both surfaces retain their original deep, like-new glossy sheen and are unmarked - beautiful record - MINT
VINYL Audio: Outstanding audio delivery in every respect - crystal clear, deep, rich and vibrant and it sounds absolutely stunning. On playback at a loud volume (and it's always a real pleasure to return to this wonderful LP) there are no scratches, no sticks/jumps and no loud clicks or pops - this is a beautifully clean pressing with practically silent run-ins and track divisions, with the quieter sections playing as beautifully as silently as you could wish for with only the odd light static 'tick' - practically unavoidable with the medium (and most notable on the very quiet 'Carol Ann', which in my experience is always the most problematic track but here plays to the cleanest standard I have heard ). Very critically graded NEAR MINT for audio this copy is very, very highly recommended indeed
SLEEVE: The matt sleeve (printed on thick card stock) is clean and unmarked with just a little rubbing to the top edge (please see close-up photo) otherwise, the edges and spine are crisp and sharp and all spine text is clear and bold - EXCELLENT+
and the original CBS advertising inner sleeve (Issue # II) is clean and unmarked with no splits, just some light creasing - EXCELLENT+
