From my own vast private collection gathered over last 45+ years ...these mostly from 1973 - 1978 I had my own Record Store here in Northern California in the 1970's and 80's -and bringing in wonderfully vibrant and amazing Progressive Rock Imports was a top specialty and priority - I was (still am) so nuts about this music that I had 3 different evolving weekly Radio Programs dedicated to it over 20 years - and loved nothing more than turning folks on to these bands and immersing myself and my audience in these exotic sounds. Now it is finally time for me to pass them on - my hardest LPs to part with, some 8 boxes of which I shall be listing throughout this Spring. Many of the leading progenitors of the 1st progressive era, but quite a few more obscure but no less amazing artists of the period. . *Sadly I am NOT FAST at listing and can am lucky to get around 50 up at a time, but they will keep on coming (as I pause between series, to focus on top level packing and immediate shipping) so keep checking back.

VINYL is EX/EX+
1st LP (BLACK label) is EX with one light inaudible spindle scuff, side 2; otherwise only light hairlines. Vol. 2 LP (PINK label) is EX+ with only faint, tiny scuff, side 2, also inaudible. Both LPs play a superb high EX+ to NM throughout. Clean labels on both LPs.

COVERs: G+
Both gatefold covers are solid with no splits. 1st LP has moderate wear, small tan stains on back at left edge plus tearing to front. lower left, where the die-cut circle window probably caught another LP corner at some time in past and ripped. Tear is repaired with acid-free document repair adhesive; carefully done, with no sticking to or obstruction of the inner wheel, which still rotates freely and itself is in EX+/NM condition. L.l. section of cover is still pretty crunched in this section though. Inside gatefold is very clean. •/• Vol. 2 cover has significant ring wear and tiny drill hole with right edge of front cover slick worn away. Tan stain inside gatefold, center. Both LPs have wear to seams but no splits. SEE PHOTOS

These are 2 of approx. 5 LPs with notable cover damage that I am selling in my Spring/Summer PROG LP auction series. (2 already gone in PHASE 1, last month). The vinyl in all of them is superb.
Debut LP is the 1968 PROBE 1st USA issue - both cover and vinyl.
Vol. 2 LP vinyl is 1973 UK press PROBE issue, from the "MILESTONES" set of the first 2 LPs packaged together. The cover is the Original 1969 USA PROBE issue.
While the covers here are mere 'place-holder' quality, the vinyl is spectacular ... the winner will no doubt get them quite cheap when this auction ends.


Vinyl inside anti-static poly inner sleeves. Albums kept in protective, poly outer-sleeves.
