Description
You are bidding on an original Sneak Preview LP (pre-King's X) that was recorded in Springfield, MO in 1983 and was self-released (on "Vinyl Records"). Given the time frame it was recorded and released it has more of a new wave/power pop sound but the lead vocals on the tracks are unmistakably Doug and Ty so it makes for a great documentation of them as a band in the early 80's.
Regarding the cover, I'm assuming by the 2 personalized autographs on the back (made out to different names) that this copy was either originally sent to a radio station for airplay or perhaps signed at a show for a couple, personalized aspect aside the signatures from the band are a good 4-5 years before "Out Of The Silent Planet" was released so that helps makes it unique. Regarding the condition of the cover, at first glance the sleeve appears OK but upon closer inspection there are definitely a few flaws which I tried to capture in the additional pictures (bends, slight water damage on the top, etc) overall I would grade the sleeve a VG-, not trashed but has definitely experienced some wear. The vinyl looks and plays well with no skips and some minor crackle in spots, visually it has some marks that didn't affect the play when I tested it, overall I would grade it a EX/EX+.
The album in the picture is the exact one that you will receive.
