SNAKEPIT Archives Vol. 2 BOOK
book is new
Cult Metal Classics 2020
Without doubt, SNAKEPIT and his editor Laurent Ramadier have established through the years a brand name that is indicative of quality reading. SNAKEPIT since its inception in the late 90s is widely regarded as one of the greatest heavy metal publications of all time with a special attention to 70's and mainly 80's bands that shaped the history of our music, as well as coverage of the young guns who really deserve it.
SNAKEPIT originally started by Frank Stover who was the driving force behind the first four issues before handing the torch to Laurent Ramadier, Matt Coe and Heinz Konzett. Eventually Laurent kept the flame alive by continuing the publication up to this day on his own. SNAKEPIT Archives vol 1 BOOK is nearly sold out and what you're getting here are perfectly re-printed reissues of the very hard to find SNAKEPIT issues 6,7,8 and 9.
Going though the 416 pages of the book is like making a time travel back to late 90s / early 00s. Owning this book is like owning a piece of history as you get all the pieces of the heavy metal music puzzle that was started getting compiled in the 90s and early 00s, a really important period for the continuation of the true metal music.
A fantastic way to accompany your reading of more than two hundred interviews in a massive 416 pages book, which weighs close to two kilos! Nothing more and nothing less but pure heavy metal mania the old school way.
