Description

SMOKEY ROBINSON & THE MIRACLES “More Love” 2:47 / “Swept For You Baby” 2:56  (UK Tamla Motown TMG 614) rare UK green & white demonstration copy released 7 July 1967. Have play checked both sides and both song titles are correct for the songs featured. Some early pressings of this release mistakenly featured “Come Spy With me” on the flip side and these copies were quickly withdrawn.

Run out markings:  stamped  KT   TMG 614  A-1 / B-1

Label: clean paper; 4 prong centre fully intact; KT stamped on centre B side – Excellent

Record: nice shine & gloss; some light surface marks; the vinyl has a dullness to it in numerous bands approx 1 cm wide running from the centre outwards to the edge. I have consulted those that know more about this type of thing than I to be told that when a record has been kept in a PVC sleeve for too long without being moved sometimes it sweats which can cause some dullness. Please note this does not affect the sound quality in any way (sound clips taken from both sides of the record are attached for your judgement); play checked both sides through with no problems  – looks VG+ sounds Excellent minus

Please check my feedback to give you confidence to purchase.

Please note unless stated: All label scans and sound clips added to my listings are taken directly from the copy offered up for auction.

Basic Postage: UK first class large letter £1.50p; Europe air mail small packet £3.50p; Rest of the World air mail small packet £5.00p.

Payment through Paypal is just fine and dandy and the only method of payment I will accept for overseas buyers.

I always combine postage for multiple purchases but please wait for an invoice from me first.

All records are well packed with care and obsessive attention and generally posted within 2 days of payment received.

Where ever possible I always try to re-use packing materials to save my costs, your costs, to save waste and more importantly to reduce land fill.

I try and grade all records as accurately as my eyes and ears will allow.

But bear in mind I’m human just like you, so if you think I’ve made a mistake, get in touch straight away and a solution will be found.

Returns are happily accepted if there's an error on my part with grading. But please contact me first to discuss.

I generally wait to leave my feedback until after the buyer has left theirs.

Proof of postage is obtained for every item to aid tracking, recovery and compensation in the rare event of damage or loss whilst in the care of the Post Office.

Please check my other records for sale if time and inclination permits.

Onwards,

Derek
