Smashing Pumpkins - Siamese Singles 7inch Limited Edition Box Set

This auction is for a Smashing Pumpkins Siamese Singles Box Set containing the four 7” singles released from the 1993 album Siamese Dream. This box set was limited to just 6,000 copies.

I bought this rare box set in the first week of its release in 1994. I’ve played the singles just one time so the records are in mint condition. The box is also in near mint condition, with just very slight wear on the corners (see photo) from handling over the years.

I will pack the box well before posting it out to protect it in transit.

Notes: "Purr Snickety" is incorrectly spelled "Purr Snikety" on the back of the box.

All singles are pressed on black vinyl.

The "Cherub Rock" sleeve in the box set has a black bar in the bottom right hand corner of the sleeve in place of the number found on the Limited Edition Numbered Version.

This original box set is comprising of the four singles from Siamese Dream, packaged in a purple box. It was limited to just 6,000 copies and was released in 1994. The singles are all pressed on black vinyl from the original acetates, and come in the original sleeves (minus CR's numbering). Please note that this is the original limited edition box set which was sold as a complete set, not the less collectable version with coloured pressings. Some unscrupulous dealers have attempted to sell the box set in 2 variants:

All black pressings except for Rocket, which is peach
All original coloured pressings

Be advised that these are both fake and not the limited edition box set.
