Description
Are you sitting cumftibold....? Then I'll begin.
Rare UK mono LP, the first pressing of The Small Faces' classic 1968 album, 'Ogdens' Nut Gone Flake', IMLP 012, 1L/2L matrix suffixes, with the light lilac label.
The delicate round foldout sleeve has come apart, 2 pieces deciding to divorce from another three, but the pieces are all nicely intact, a little edge scuffing, but no creasing, and lovely colour. I think the rounded polythene bag may be the original inner, but I am not entirely sure. I will ship the record in a new, clean poly-lined inner.
Very strong, full mono sound from the vinyl (blimey, Ronnie Lane's bass was turned up to 11) with some background noise and light crackle throughout, and occasional light clicks and pops. There are hairlines and light scuffs on both sides but, deep joy, this is still a great playing copy. The vinyl grades VG to VG minus.
