On offer here is a very rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by The Small Faces called 'Odgens Nut Gone Flake' and is a Stereo UK 1968 1st pressing!!!! THIS IS SERIOUSLY RARE!!!! THIS IS THE VERY EARLIEST 1ST STEREO PRESSING OF THIS LP ON THE LILAC LABEL!!!! OF COURSE - ALL MONO 1ST PRESSINGS ARE FOUND QUITE EASILY ON THE LILAC LABEL - BUT ONLY THE VERY 1ST FEW STEREO PRESSINGS OF THIS LP WERE PRESSED ON THE LILAC LABEL - BEFORE IMMEDIATE STARTED PRESSING THE STEREOS ON THE PINK LABEL AND THE MONOS ON THE LILAC. I CANNOT OVERSTATE HOW RARE IT IS TO FIND A STEREO 1ST PRESSING ON THIS LILAC 1ST PRESS LABEL - ONLY A HANDFUL OF STEREOS WERE PRESSED ON THIS LABEL BEFORE THE LABEL COLOUR CHANGE!!!! ALSO SHOWING JUST HOW EARLY THIS STEREO 1ST PRESSING REALLY IS - THERE IS A 'SAMPLE' STICKER ON ONE SIDE OF THE LABEL!!!! THE MOTHER AND STAMPER CODES ARE ALSO INCREDIBLY EARLY TOO - BEING 1/A & 1/R!!!! THIS SHOWS THAT THIS WAS ONE OF THE VERY FIRST 1000 COPIES EVER PRESSED!!!! IT IS ALSO IMPORTANT TO NOTE THAT FINDING A STEREO 1ST PRESSING ON A LILAC LABEL IS MUCH MUCH RARER THAN FINDING A MONO 1ST PRESSING. NEARLY ALL OF THE EARLIEST 1ST PRESSINGS WERE IN MONO - AND IN MY OPINION I WOULD SAY THAT ONLY 1 IN EVERY 50 COPIES PRESSED IN THE 1ST PRESSING RUN - WERE PRESSED IN STEREO!!!! FINDING A 1968 STEREO PRESSING OF ODGENS ON THE PINK LABEL IS HARD ENOUGH - BUT FINDING ONE OF THE VERY EARLIEST 1ST PRESSINGS ON THE LILAC LABEL IS VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE!!!! DONT MISS OUT ON THIS MASSIVELY RARE STEREO VERY EARLIEST 1ST PRESSING - YOU MAY NOT GET ANOTHER CHANCE!!!! This is an ORIGINAL Immediate UK 1st Stereo pressing from 1968 and is in STUNNING condition!!!! The record is pressed on THICK quality vinyl. The Cat. No is IMSP 012 on the LILAC 1st Press Immediate label (see picture) and is a UK Stereo 1968 1st pressing!!!! All the tracks are pure quality Small Faces at their best!!!! Any fan of Small Faces, or 60s music in general, will want to have this in their collection!!!!
The record labels are in STUNNING condition (see pictures) with NO wear, NO writing, and only a few light spindle marks!!!! The vinyl is in STUNNING condition!!!! Most of these 60s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and has NO scratches, only 1 light small NON SOUNDING hairline, and only some VERY light paper scuffing only visible under light!!!! ITS AS SIMPLE AS THAT!!!! THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK!!!! It is great to find the record plays as STUNNINGLY as the visual!!!! The record plays well with NO pops, NO sticking, NO jumps, NO distortion (Crystal clear sound), NO groovewear, and NO nasty loud crackle!!!! There is a slight background sound on the gaps, run on grooves etc - though it is barely noticeable on Side 1 and only slightly more noticeable to the gaps/quiet parts on Side 2. Even so - both sides play well with CRYSTAL CLEAR undistorted music!!!! The record must visually grade Very Good++++ if not better - though the playing grade is probably slightly less than this due to the slight background sound. EVEN SO - IT IS IMPORTANT TO REMEMBER THAT THIS RECORD IS MASSIVELY RARE WITH THIS STEREO LILAC LABEL - AND IT WILL BE A VERY VERY LONG TIME BEFORE ANOTHER ONE OF THESE TURNS UP!!!! ONLY A HANDFUL OF THESE STEREO 1ST PRESSINGS WERE EVER PRESSED WITH THE LILAC LABEL - AND ARE EXTREMELY RARE!!!! Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!! The STUNNINGLY designed Garrod & Lofthouse Cover is in STUNNING condition!!!! It has NO edge wear, barely ANY join wear (NO rips), barely ANY creases (beautiful flat cover), and NO writing!!!! There is also NO Grubbyness and NO yellowing!!!! The cover MUST grade FULL Excellent if not better - and this is one of the better examples of this RARE cover (most are found totally trashed) I have seen!!!! A STUNNING GRADE FOR A VERY RARE RECORD!!!!

It really is a GREAT looking LP and it is truly rare to find any copies of this MEGA RARE LP!!!!
