** CLASSIC SMALL FACES LP - 1968 1st PRESSING ON USA IMMEDIATE LABEL, WITH MULTI-WAY FOLD OUT DIE-CUT SLEEVE FULLY INTACT **
A Very Good condition disc. Would have been classes as Excellent, other than for a light surface mark on Side 1 (see photos), which is plainly visible, but causes no sound issues. Lustrous, shiny vinyl, with very few other surface marks of any sort. A few visible spindle marks. Very clean labels on both sides. Original STEREO mixes of both sides. No skips, jumps, warps, sticking, deep scratches, or writing on labels. Very good sound quality throughout, with very little surface noise. A very listenable LP. Tested on a Thorens turntable.
Gatefold Sleeve in Excellent- condition. Very little wear anywhere. The sleeve of this LP is very delicate, and most of them have disintegrated or become badly torn or damaged by now. This one is fine. All fold-outs are intact, and connected to each other properly. A name is written on the back. No creasing. No age-related discoloration anywhere. No tears, no rips.
Supplied in polythene inner sleeve.
GRADING:
All records are graded using the 'Record Collector' format:
MINT (M): The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
EXCELLENT (EX): The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD (VG): The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD (G): The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.
FAIR (F): The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.
POOR (P): The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
BAD (B): The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler.
