For sale here is --SMALL FACES--OGDENS' NUT GONE FLAKE-- UK ORIGINAL FIRST STEREO PRESSING.  1968 ON THE LILAC IMMEDIATE LABEL...IMSP 012. This label is, as many of you will undoubtedly know, far SCARCER than the pink label!!!!

SLEEVE.....CIRCULAR, MULTI-FOLDOUT.. . FANTASTIC  CONDITION. The colours are very strong and vibrant LIKE NEW. ALL EDGES ARE EX to NM.  The front is MINT with NO UNWANTED WRITING, NO STICKER TEARS, NO STICKERS,  NO STAINING and NO  SURFACE RUB. The rear  is in the same wonderful NM condition with NO RING WEAR.  ALL OF THE 5 PARTS OF THIS ARE UNDAMAGED AND ARE ATTACHED AS NEW.  IT IS IN THE CONDITION THAT 'GARROD AND LOFTHOUSE' PRINTED IT.  All in all this is in wonderful condition for a sleeve of this age. EX to NM!!!

LABELS.....There is NO unwanted writing, staining, stickers, residue or tears. Barely visible spindle marks either side. EX+++

VINYL....Both sides of this fantastic album still have their JUST PRESSED deep black shine. Quality HEAVY vinyl. When you hold this album in the very brightest of lights you can see very few  faint surface hairlines which are very light and some of them caused by removal and replacement in and out of the inner sleeve, there are no nasty scratches or marks . Both sides play WITHOUT  CLICKS OR JUMPS. I have played this album on my very sensitive and revealing LINN SONDEK/ROTEL/B&W set-up and the sound is UN-WORN, it is full and crisp there is NO loss of sound quality at all, wonderful sound stage and stereo seperation. There are VERY, VERY FEW dust crackles that can be heard only in the quiet parts of the music or between tracks, but a professional clean should sort out that. This really is a great copy that any collector would be delighted to add to their collection, a real KEEPER . EX+, a very nice copy!! I TRULY BELIEVE THAT YOU WILL NOT SEE ANOTHER COPY AS GOOD AS THIS... ANY TIME SOON...   Most of these are now in collections all over the world. Whenever one of these 1st presses comes up, collectors from the four corners of the world are alerted to it, this is just THAT RARE!!!!Sensational sound quality, NO skips or jumps. NO clicks, this is really a stunning vinyl with a beautiful deep gloss. Vinyl: EX+   condition. Only a couple of small hairline marks can be detected on either side barring me from grading this NM. Otherwise this looks ASTONISHING!!!  Inspected under an intense lightsource and angled.

I have played this in FULL> The replay is ASTOUNDING!!! A very joyful listen. There are not any jumps or skips. There is no background noise at all!! Very remarkable for this 1968 vinyl!!! I played this on my LINN SONDEK turntable and through my very revealing B&W three way speakers!!!

                                                 Label Condition:  A STUNNING PAIR: Highly attractive and immaculate, the best I have ever seen for this famous record as an original. A label that ages less well than many due to the delicate pale colour that shows every blemish, but none here to be seen. Just the odd faint and fine spindle trace, this beautifully preserved example looks really lovely. Needless to say, it has no writing on them!!!
