(especially in this condition) by THE SMALL FACES called " FROM THE BEGINING " and is an ORIGINAL 1967 UK MONO 1st Pressing on the 1st Press UN-BOXED DECCA label.THIS LP IS MEGA RARE AND VERY DIFFICULT TO LOCATE. THIS IS ONE OF THE SMALL FACES RAREST LP's EVER, AND HARDLY EVER TURNS UP FOR SALE... TRY AND GET HOLD OF ANOTHER ONE!..NOT ONLY THAT BUT THIS LP IS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION...(have a look at my photo's) THIS IS THE ORIGINAL UK 1967 MONO 1st PRESSING ON THE 1st PRESS UN-BOXED DECCA LABEL. 1st PRESS 5B / 8A MATRIXES, AND 1st PRESS FRONT LAMINATED CLOUT & BAKER SLEEVE ...THIS LP IS MEGA RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND - SO DON'T MISS OUT ON THIS ULTRA RARE RECORD...this is the ORIGINAL UN-BOXED DECCA UK MONO 1st pressing from 1967 and is in EXCELLENT condition!..The record is pressed on a slab of THICK black quality vinyl. The Cat no. is LK 4879 on the 1st press UN-BOXED DECCA label...(have a look at my photo's) and is a UK MONO 1st Pressing..

Labels are the sensational deep crimson UN-BOXED DECCA  format in excellent++ condition. With the UN-BOXED DECCA logo above the central holes on both labels to confirm that this is the very first issue of this magnificent rarity. Has some very minor spindle lines but no damage of any kind. No graffiti , No rips No tears, and in excellent++ condition.

Vinyl

Thickly pressed heavy weight  vinyl pressing with jet black mirrior like surfaces That have that just pressed look!!. A magnificent vintage classic . Against a strong halogen light and angled at 45 degrees , There are NO surface marks, scratches or blemishes at all, only 2 or 3 tiny faint wispy lines are visible whatsoever. A remarkable visual and impossible to locate  in this in this condition! and would therefore grade as excellent+++ /  near as mint!!

Sleeve

First issue front lamimated clout & baker  sleeve is showing some very minor signs of wear at the corners, with some laminate creasing and light ring wear.The sleeve has No rips, tears and absolutley No graffitti whatsoever,and is a pleasure to view.The sleeve is in very good++ condition and a Fantastic collectors item . The Spine is straight and legible.This is a fine example of this sensational DECCA  classic !!!

From the Beginning was the (unofficial) retrospective album released by English Mod, Rhythm and blues band Small Faces in 1967 on Decca Records. The album rose to Number 17 in the UK Album Chart.

 Album profile

The album was released by Don Arden on Decca after the group had made a switch to the Immediate label headed by Andrew Loog Oldham. The album contains their hit records on Decca including their number one song "All or Nothing". The album also includes a cover of Del Shannon's classic hit song "Runaway".

my records are condition graded visually in accordance with Record Collector's Grading System as follows:

MINT (M): Unplayed, pristine condition, often still sealed.

NEAR MINT (NM): The record itself is in almost brand new condition with no apparent surface marks, full original vinyl lustre, and no deterioration in sound quality.The cover and any extra items are in near perfect condition.

EXCELLENT (EX): The record shows signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and/or packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

VERY GOOD (VG): The record obviously has been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover and/or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD (G): The record has been played so much that the sound quality has deteriorated noticeably, perhaps with some distortion and/or scratches. The cover and/or contents may suffer from folding, scuffing, spine-splits, major discolouration, etc.
