This is a UK 1st press of ’There’s A Riot Goin’ On’ by Sly & The Family Stone. It is complete with the earliest matrix, the lyric insert and Shorewood Packaging gatefold sleeve.
The vinyl is in Excellent condition. It is in superb condition, the grooves show no sign of age and it still has the original jet black mirrored gloss. There are just a couple of the lightest wispy marks. These marks have absolutely no affect on play.
When played the sound is Excellent, rich, bold and extremely clear. Voices are sharp and there is excellent separation and clarity throughout.
The label is also Excellent, completely clean. The colour is solid and unworn, the text is sharp and there is just the slightest spindle wear.
The lyric insert is Excellent - firm and clean. The white is bright, there is fold on one edge however the edges are still very firm and the whole insert is solid.
The sleeve is in Very Good+ condition. The colours are bold, the image is sharp and the whole sleeve still has the original light sheen. There is a little corner and edge wear. The inside is great, very bright and the whole sleeve is solid. The spine is firm with clear text.
