Uncommon box set from Du Pre recordings, Turn up your speakers a short sound sample (5 minutes 9 seconds)of the 4 minute or so of Dvorak side five then a minute of side 6, as they look most played of all the box set.(couple of spindle marks) Sample auto started as you opened the page. There is a 20 to 30 second gap of silence as I flip or change the disc during the sampling.

SUMMARY ITEM CONDITION 

 Box EXCELLENT++++ (hey its a black shiny box with textured vinyl, the smallest mark or rub shows!!)

Lightest rubs on shiny black rear and front, two or three small spots where black textured box cover has rubbed ON BOTTOM edge and corners. BOX corners all sound, no  splits or warps.  ONE SMALL SPLIT ON OUTSIDE REAR ONLY (DOES NOT SHOW ON INSIDE- SEE PHOTO 3 AND 4)

LP 's CONDITION  NM Minus, HOWEVER THE DISC 1 AND 2 (NON DVORAK) BOTH HAVE A VERY MILD DISH EFFECT, (CONCAVE/CONVEX BUT DO NOT AFFECT REPLAY.) I HAVE SEEN THIS QUITE A BIT IN EMI BOX SETS WHERE THE LP'S ARE NOT RIGIDLY SUPPORTED IN THE BOX, LIKE A SINGLE LP IN A COVER GETS, AS THE BOX IS THICKER THAN THE 3 LP'S AND BOOKLET, SO ALLOWS UNSUPPORTED DISCS TO SOMETIMES 'DISH' SLIGHTLY. THE TWO AFFECTED DISCS PLACED FLAT ON A TURNTABLE CONVEX SIDE UP, MEANS THE TURNTABLE SPINDLE IS CENTRING THE DISC AT ABOUT 2-3MLS HIGHER UP THE SHAFT.

ALSO NOTE A LOT OF OTHER SELLERS MAY HAVE MISSED THIS IN A CONDITION REPORT, BUT I HAVE AN EYE FOR DETAIL.......

OTHERWISE Just a very few hairline sunlight ONLY visible PAPER scuffs, non sounding.only Dvofak disc 3 has any spindle rotation marks, suspect other than my quick test play the other two may be unplayed.

Not completely test played by me, but all opening few minutes of all SIX sides played and they are damage free, no static crackles at all.
