Description
Long out of print Ep from Slowdive (2nd Ep) on Creation records released in 1991. Original. Vinyl isNear-Mint and cover is Excellent (just a small tear on the back and 1" split on top center of cover. - Check out my other Slowdive Eps that I have for bid.
Notes: Morningrise is a marked improvement from Slowdive's debut, in that it's more lively and developed. Rather than simply carving out a mood and riding it out for a few minutes, attention to actual song craft is given a higher priority here. Though the lyrics aren't a major factor, the voices of Neil Halstead and Rachel Goswell act as extra instruments, blanketing the warm sounds. The tempo shifts are stunning, when they're used (as on "She Calls"). "Losing Today" is another drifter, evoking their most Twin Peaks-like moment.

GRADING: I ususally only Use Near-Mint (Like New), Excellent (Close to Near-Mint but maybe a few slight marks on the vinyl or general shelfwear to the cover) and Very Good (don't sell VG records unless they are older or hard to find - some may fall in between VG and Excellent and I'll try to note this. Sometimes I'll play the lp first if I think it may be VG or in between VG and Excellent.
