SLOWDIVE - JUST FOR A DAY
1991 UK CREATION - CRE-LP-094.
Scarce original 1991 Creation label first pressing. Has 'ANDY 91' hand etched Into the dead wax of Side-1.
The vinyl plays & sounds excellent. Side 2 plays & sounds almost perfect. Side 1, almost the same, apart from some low level repeated background tics through the last quarter of side ones final track 'Erik's Song'. I listened to the album through headphones before listing, & these repeated light tics are mostly behind the music. There are no nasty deep marks or scratches, & so no loud tics or pops, & actually, barely any background crackle at all. The sound quality Is excellent throughout, with no lessening In the audio at all.
The vinyl Is In excellent clean condition with a nice sheen, but when tilted towards a certain light, there Is a lighter slight speckled effect In some areas, really not sure what this Is, but, whatever It Is, really doesn't look that bad, & has absolutely no effect on the audio at all, as the sound quality Is really superb throughout. Whatever It Is, may well disappear with a professional deep clean.
The vinyl has been kept In a separate white poly-lined Inner sleeve, & so the original Inner sleeve Is In perfect condition, no creasing, & no rips or seems splits. The outer cover, In great shape, all apart from some narrow slithers of bottom edge / shelf / storage wear. Apart from this, the outer sleeve Is In excellent condition.
I will only send this Item by recorded post. I pack my records very well. I do not use record mailers. I use layers of very strong rigid cardboard. The Item will reach you In the same condition as advertised & pictured.
