Boasting Andrew Fearn and Jason Williamson’s
most varied and expressive musical approach to
date, the new record charts, critiques and satirises
our times, while offering a universal cry of anger
and a release of energy that pushes against the
encroaching cultural darkness.
Fearn’s urgent electronics and Williamson’s
machine gun diction ensures The Demise Of Planet
X continues Sleaford Mods trademark bite, but the
pair have allied depth, emotions and melodies to
their uncompromising attack.
Not only does the album find the pair at the top of
their songwriting powers, but they have
incorporated an array of impressive guests to help
deliver their vision.
