Description
Rare, original Picture Disc LP from Pioneering Thrash Metal band SLAYER - HELL AWAITS - on Combat/Metal Blade Records from 1985 (#MXPD8020). Signed by all 4 band members on the disc itself in permanant black pen/marker on the front (Side 1). Features 7 songs including the title track, "Kill Again", "At Dawn They Sleep", "Necrophiliac", "Crypts of Eternity" and others. Missing the heavier plastic sleeve it came in, but kept in a plastic record sleeve still and is easy enough to replace with a heavier PD sleeve i'm sure. Vinyl is in good shape with some light scratches/marks here and there and the marker on it for the signatures. Plays fine with some audible crackling here and there (mostly at the start of disc on each side and in between songs it is noticable. Probably more one to put on your wall or frame anyway as picutre disc sound quality is not always the greatest anyway). As far as I can tell they are legitimate signatures from examples i've seen and online and it looks like there is a date of "99" under one sig. Tough to find even without the band signatures! Shipping is $4 for media mail or $11 for priority airmail in the US, $10 for first class or $20 for priority in Canada and $14 for first class or $28 for priority airmail overseas. Shipping can be combined on multiple auctions won from me.
