Incredibly rare UNPLAYED Skyhooks Box set, released in 1983. I purchased the box set and put it awayt in storage, so it is UNPLAYED! The box is in excellent, near new condition (some minor fading) but all the albums are unplayed. Booklet also in superb condition. Taken out of box only to photograph it. All original LPs, plus 2 albums of unreleased material and the Smut 12".

You will not find a better condition of this box set ANYWHERE. You will not be dissapointed. I will ship outside of Australia, but please email for a postage price. POSTAGE: In Australia, letters and parcels (up to 500 grams) are posted regular mail. If you parcel weighs above 500 grams, I will use a parcel post satchel. If you wish to register your letter or parcel, please add $3.80. Keep in mind that all parcels have a tracker ID number, and have an included insurance of up to $100.   

Outside of Australia, letters and parcels (up to 500 grams) are posted using Australia Post’s Economy Air service (10 business days approximate delivery) as default. If you want your parcel registered, please pay an additional $9 and your parcel will be sent via Australia Post’s International Standard Service (6 days approximate delivery). This service means that your parcel can be tracked. Please note that International Standard Service is compulsory for buyers who live in South America, Russia, Eastern Europe, Middle East, Turkey and Mexico.  

PACKING: Don’t worry - we pack anything you buy very carefully to make sure it arrives in the condition it left here. More specifically, in the way we'd like to receive parcels ourselves. CD’s will be posted outside of Australia without the jewel case to save the buyer on postage, and will be sent on sturdy cardboard to prevent damage.

Please note that the postage price includes packaging/handling fee.

Combined Postage: We will of course combine and reduce postage costs if you purchase multiple items.  

Record grading: Note: We will only use a mint grading for a record we know to have been unplayed. Please note that all record are graded visually only.

MINT:  RECORD: New condition with no surface marks or loss of sound quality.

COVER: New condition with no surface marks or wear.

NEAR MINT: RECORD: Barely noticeable surface mark with no loss of sound quality. COVER: Barely noticeable surface mark/ wear.

EXCELLENT: RECORD: Some signs of being played with extremely little if no loss of sound quality. COVER: Slight wear.

VERY GOOD:  RECORD: Obviously been played with noticeable surface marks & the occasional light scratches but exhibits no major loss of sound quality.

COVER: Noticeable wear. Slight writing/ stains.

GOOD: RECORD: Very obviously been played with very noticeable surface marks & exhibits major loss of sound quality. COVER: Noticeable wear. Much writing/ stains.

FAIR:  RECORD: Still just playable & exhibits considerable surface noise.

COVER: Major tears, wearing, writing & stains.

POOR:  RECORD: Will not play properly due to scratches etc. COVER: Very badly damaged.

+(PLUS)/-(MINUS):  Slightly up or down in condition as appears in the comments above.

CD Disc grading
CD grading is a controversial issue. Some CDs can look faulty, but play fine. Whereas others look fine and do not play. It is generally considered throughout the collecting industry that a CD with perfect playback is in Mint condition, however as collectors ourselves we do not agree with this. For an item to be described as Mint condition it should not only sound perfect, but should also look perfect.

Mint (M): ‘New’ or ‘As new’ condition.
Excellent (EX): Shows signs of having been played (light surface marks), but plays fine and has perfect sound quality.
Very good (VG): Disc has obvious surface marks, but plays fine and has perfect sound quality.
Good (G): Disc is heavily scratched, but despite this plays fine and has perfect sound quality. 
Fair (F) or Poor (P): Disc that only plays some of the tracks - We do NOT stock items in this condition.

Grading of CD sleeves and inlays (paper parts) 
Mint (M): ‘New’ or ‘As new’ condition.
Excellent (EX): May have slight wear and/or creasing.
Very good (VG): Normal wear and tear without any major defects (this may include light ring wear, light wear to edges, or minor/small seam splits, or similar).
Good (G): Not in 'collectable' condition. Therefore, may have defects such as folding, heavy ring wear or similar
Fair (F) or Poor (P): Torn or defaced. Marked with texta etc.

Please note that CDs and LPs have been visually graded only. Any item we sell is described as accurately as possible.
