Skree Folk – Self Titled AlbumIf you haven’t yet heart Skree Folk, your chance has come with this album. Skree Folk are Tom Redpath, Niall Galloway, Jimmy Proudfoot and John MacFarlane. This is a very rare private press album that very seldomly comes up for sale. It features some great arrangements of Scottish folk songs!
Side One: The Bonnie Ship The Diamond; Bonnie Dundee; Culloden; The Flower Of Scotland; The Battle Of Otterburn; The Dowie Dens Of Yarrow.
Side Two: The Balina; Leezie Lidsay; Ye Jacobites By Name; The Haughs Of Cromdale; The Banks Of Sicily; The Land O’ The Leal.
The album was released by Eroica Recording Services Ltd, D St 673/674 on record label, ZAW 8001 on back cover. Matrix side one: ERO D ST 673 (stamped). Matrix side two: ERO D ST 674 (stamped).
Released in 1972. UK pressing. Stereo.

Condition: (as Record Collector's grading system)
Vinyl side 1: excellent (has one or two very light superficial marks that do not affect the audio in any way, plays great with no jumps, sticks or clicks and minimal crackle).
Vinyl side 2: excellent (has one or two very light superficial marks that do not affect the audio in any way, plays great with no jumps, sticks or clicks and minimal crackle).
Cover (matt, narrow flipback top and bottom): very good (corner, edge and spine wear, a few marks front and back, bit of damage to bottom flipback, light aging).
I have tried to give my honest opinion as to the condition. I will give a complete refund to the buyer if they are not happy with the record.

RECORD COLLECTOR GRADING SYSTEM:
MINT: I very rarely use the mint grade. Only records that are still sealed or records that even under the strongest of lights are completely unmarked. Also covers that are unmarked/uncreased in any way and still look brand new.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is no lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.
FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.
POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
