Description

SKINNIES - Kill the Beat - 7" Original KBD Punk Normals

 

First and only single from New Orleans punk band.  Issued in 1978 on Lectric Eye Records.  This was the first ever New Orleans punk single to be released and is quite rare to find these days.  Songs are: (I'm a Dullard) and Out of Order

 

This great New Orleans label released only 4 singles and they were:

Skinnies - Kill the Beat -  (I'm a Dullard)/Out of Order - Eye 1

Normals - Almost Ready/Hardcore - Eye 2

Men In Black - S&M Bar/The Gypsy Lid - Eye 3

Buns - Anti-Matter/Raise the Roof - Eye 4

Condition:  Some very minor scuffs and a few tiny scratches on both sides that do not affect play.  Plays fine with no skips on either side.  Paper sleeve is in great shape. No tears or splitting which is remarkable for a 30 year old paper sleeve.  You can tell from the photos that this is a very nice copy of this rare record.
