Description
Skin Alley's 1969 self-titled UK stereo LP on CBS S 63847, A1/B1 matrix suffixes, a first pressing.
Single matt sleeve has edge browning, light rubbing, edge creases and light wear, small corner bumps and light wear, thumb creasing at the opening edge side, and a little ringwear. Still good structure, clear graphics, and overall grades VG. Supplied with the original and correct CBS advertising inner sleeve.
Vinyl plays well, strong audio, with varying degrees of light crackle and regular but mostly unobtrusive clicks and pops. Contributing to this on side 1 are some light hairlines, a small scuff across the end of band two and into band three, plus two more obvious, but non-feelable lines, one across band two and the other across band four; on side 2 there is one long but light skating line, a parallel hairline scuff, a couple of other hairlines and a few very small marks visible on band two. No skips or jumps throughout.
By no means a perfect copy, but certainly a great playing copy, and difficult to find in any condition. The vinyl grades VG+ to occasionally EX- for audio.
