Description

SKEETS TOLBERT "UNCLE EPH'S DREAM/BIG FAT BUTTERFLY" 10" 78 RECORD. USA DECCA 8579.
Record is in very good condition with some light surface marks. This is a played, but not worn copy, unlike most of the early American blues 78s that I have come across in the past. Above average condition for its age (nearly 100 years old). Supplied in white card sleeve which is not original to record. This is quite a rare early American Blues recording.
Please Note: For UK buyers, I can send up to seven 78s for £5.00, as long as the package is under 2 kilogrammes. If you are bidding from outside the UK, before bidding, please contact me with your location so I can calculate the correct postage costs. Also before bidding, it is your responsibility to ensure you are aware of any import taxes and VAT you will be due to pay. Due to the recording technology on some of these early records and the age of the record, there may be a small amount of background noise. I would recommend playing this record on an appropriate vintage record player or gramophone equipped with the correct needle/stylus. It would not be suitable to play on a modern hi fi system.
