TITLE/INFO: If you have interest in great conditioned "oldies" of all varieties (in both vinyl and CD formats), please continue to check in on my site as I have many more records and other '60's items to sell yet - thank you in advance. This unusual 12 song album - listed in slightly more detail below - is unique in the fact that it contains: 1) six original hit songs by various male artists from the '50's and early '60's, and 2) six answer songs to those recordings by Skeeter Davis. The album is on the original RCA Victor, "Living Stereo" record label and the vinyl is in excellent to near perfect shape. The LP even comes with it's original RCA Victor company sleeves (see the pictures above and the more specific details listed below for all the song titles, jacket and vinyl info, and more).
NM-Near Mint EX-Excellent
1) Skeeter Davis - "Here's The Answer" - Original RCA Victor, "Living Stereo" label, LSP-2327 - Answer songs to six original hit recordings by various male singers (see pictures for names) which are also included here - EX to NM vinyl and RCA company sleeve, but the jacket shows some wear. There are several small scuff marks along the seam/corner areas, some "dirt marks" in a few places on either side, and one 3" crease line with a 1/2" tear along the open edged seam. Otherwise, it is just fine.
INTERESTING FACTS: Yes, if you're a collector of Skeeter Davis or her "answer songs", then this LP might be for you. As always, I have begun the auction at a low opening bid and have no reserve price - just free and open bidding - so good luck! FYI, if anyone wants to bid on multiple items to save on postage costs, I am more than happy to "save" your winning pieces here at the house until you are ready for shipping - just tell me ahead of time, wait for my invoice (not EBay's), and pay for each item as you win them. In addition to this offer here, I will continue to list many other RnR/R&B LP's, 45's, and CDs by 1950-60's artists----and even more C&W music, too. I am selling off my entire personal collection, and there are 100's more to list yet -- of all varieties and genres. Many of these still to be listed records (and CDs) are rare and hard to find, and most all of them are original pressings and in near mint shape.
