Details:- From my own personal collection - Rare 1969 1st UK pressing of Mendocino by blues band Sir Douglas Quintet. Released on the Mercury label, catalogue no. 20160 SMCL. The record is housed in the original fully laminated sleeve and poly-lined inner sleeve
Vinyl Condition:- NEAR MINT. Superb condition, barely played and very well looked afer. Record plays with outstanding sound quality. This record has been fully test played before this auction
Sleeve Condition:- NEAR MINT. Great condition, Just some tiny wear on the corners. There is very light fine scuffing in places on the gloss of the laminate but this is only seen when the sleeve is viewed at an angle under bright light. Spine is crisp and fully readable
Label Condition:- NEAR MINT. Some very small light spindle marks, no more than two or three on one side and hard to see any at all on the other
This record seldom comes up for sale and in such well looked aftre condition as this. Don't miss your chance!

Grading Abbreviations
Grading below is as stated from UK Record Collector. I also use +/- for records that fall somewhere between a grade
MINT: I only used this grade for new or unplayed records. I use the grade NEAR MINT
If a record has been played, even if the condition of the record and sleeve is perfect.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
