While 'officially' limited to 25,000 copies, in actuality, only around 10,000 copies were made. The vinyl is translucent due to the use of the "super vinyl" formula. Pressed in Japan under their usually strict production protocols. The box set contains 16 remastered 'Capitol Records' albums from 1953-1962 during the height of Sinatra's career. 
The Case: EX- No significant blemishes to report. There are some minor dings, and a small top push, but nothing even remotely offputting. It is clean with the silver finish solidly in place throughout. The doors open and close properly. This 40-year-old case is in terrific condition.
Vinyl Playback: NM I carefully inspected each album and played 6 completely. What I heard was a vinyl experience at its very best. This set is known for its audio clarity. These pressings sound very much like master tapes but with the compression from the original Capitol tapes removed. There is zero surface noise between tracks. The audio is simply spectacular and a joy to listen to.
Silver LP Cover Sleeves: EX- They are in excellent condition. Some have minor 'shelf wear' and/or a bottom seam crack from being slid in and out of the case. This is common with this release. They still present exceptionally well.
Record 'Covers': EX These 'covers' are simply fold-overs. Each side has the original cover images front and back. Although a couple have very minor blemishes, the 'covers' are all in excellent condition. There is a neat notation on each by the owner indicating that the record had been recorded to cassette. (Please see photo example.)
Vinyl Visual: NM All 16 records appear spotless and scratch-free. Given their age, all were cleaned on a VPI 16.5 machine. Across all 32 sides, only a couple of short superficial spider lines on Disc 3/S2 and Disc 9/S1, and a whispy paper scuff on Disc 16/ S2 are seen. These are all incidental and have virtually zero audible impact.

Vinyl is cleaned on a VPI 16.5 machine and test played 'start-to-finish' prior to listing, unless otherwise noted.

Vinyl Play Grades
M: Still sealed
M-: An opened item that appears 'M'. Virtually perfect playback.
NM: A few minor visual imperfections with virtually no audible impact. Top quality play.
EX: A few more surface marks than NM with very few audible imperfections. Quality play.
VG+: Surface scuffs and lines. Some light surface noise or a few tics or pops. Enjoyable play.
VG: Defined scuffs, lines, and scratches. More surface noise, tics, and pops than VG+. Acceptible play.
G: Heavy wear, deep scratches, with egregious surface noise, clicks, and pops. Poor play.
Hybrid Example:    Vinyl which is VG in appearance but plays NM. = Visual Grade: VG  Playback Grade: NM
The reverse may also occur.  = Visual Grade: NM  Playgrade: VG
Album covers are graded on a case by case basis given the myriad of issues which may impact each.
All grading is completely subjective and provided to the best of my ability.
