SIMPLE MINDS

NEW GOLD DREAM (81-82-83-84)

💛💜💛

This is the fifth studio album from the

Simple Minds, and considered their breakthrough LP,  and said by the lead singer Jim Kerr that it was their Holy Grail.

This LP is from A&M Records where the first

50,000 copies were released in transparent gold vinyl with purple marbling. This is one of those copies, not rare, but limited...

Huge hits came from this album, three UK Top 40 singles: of course "Promised You A Miracle"  "Glittering Prize" and "Someone Somewhere in Summertime" all hit the charts.

Herbie Hancock makes a guest appearance on the song "Hunter and the Hunted" !

This LP is a duplicate from my personal collection purchased in '82, shrink wrap removed and shelved since then.

She's is in minty-fresh condition and squeaky clean. The outer sleeve is in perfect condition, especially for a vintage piece like this . Inner sleeve is perfect too!

This is a must for vinyl collectors and those that embrace the great post-punk music of the 80's!

This is a veryspecial record!

Reach out for any questions or other pics.

Thanks
