On offer here is a VERY rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by Simon & Garfunkel called "Sounds Of Silence" and is an ORIGINAL 1966 UK MONO 1st Pressing on the 1st Press 'Textured' Orange CBS label!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND!!!!  THIS IS ONE OF SIMON & GARFUNKEL'S RAREST UK LPs EVER - AND VIRTUALLY NEVER TURNS UP FOR SALE!!!!  JUST TRY AND FIND ANOTHER ONE!!!!  BACK IN 1966 WHEN THIS LP WAS FIRST RELEASED IN THE UK - IT ONLY EVER SOLD IN ABSOLUTELY TINY AMOUNTS (LIKE THIS!), AND WAS ALMOST IMMEDIATELY CHANGED!!!!  AS A RESULT IT IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND INCREDIBLY HARD TO LOCATE TODAY!!!!  BUT WHAT MAKES THIS LP REALLY SPECIAL IS THAT IT IS THE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSING EVER MADE!!!!  AND THIS IS ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND ON THIS LP!!!!  AMAZINGLY, THIS LP HAS A THICKER FLIPBACK LAMINATED COVER (LATER ONES DONT!), 'MONO' PRINTED ON THE REVERSE OF THE COVER (LATER ONES DID NOT!), AND 'TEXTURED' ORANGE CBS LABELS WITH '33' LABEL TEXT (AGAIN, LATER ONES DONT!)!!!!  ONLY A TINY HANDFUL OF THE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSINGS ONLY, WERE EVER PRESSED LIKE THIS - BEFORE THE FLIPBACK LAMINATED COVER WAS DROPPED (AND CHANGED TO A NON-FLIPBACK COVER INSTEAD!), AND THE LABEL TEXT WAS ALSO CHANGED ASWELL!!!!  SO THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO DOUBT ALL - THAT THIS IS THE 'EARLIEST' & RAREST 1ST PRESSING OF THIS AMAZING LP THAT YOU CAN POSSIBLY GET!!!!

NOT ONLY THAT BUT THIS LP IS IN GREAT CONDITION - AND IS STILL A VERY DECENT EXAMPLE INDEED!!!!  JUST TAKE A LOOK AT THE PICTURES!!!!  THIS IS THE ORIGINAL 1966 UK MONO 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSING ON THE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESS 'TEXTURED' ORANGE CBS LABELS, 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESS '33' LABEL TEXT (LATER ONES HAD '33 1/3' INSTEAD!), 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESS 'SQUARE' CBS ADVERTISING INNER SLEEVE (LATER ONES DONT!), AND ULTRA RARE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESS 'E.J.DAY' FLIPBACK LAMINATED MONO COVER (LATER ONES HAD NON-FLIPBACK COVERS INSTEAD!)!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LIKE THIS - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS AMAZING OPPORTUNITY!!!!  This is the ORIGINAL CBS UK 1st Pressing from 1966 and is in GREAT condition!!!!  The record is pressed on THICK quality vinyl.  The Cat. No is BPG 62690 on the ORIGINAL 1st Press 'Textured' Orange CBS label (see picture) and is a UK MONO 1st Pressing!!!!

The record labels are in BRILLIANT condition (see pictures) with NO stickers, NO tears, NO writing, and some spindle marks to either label!!!!  The vinyl is in GREAT condition!!!!  Most of these 60s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and has NO scratches, only 2 or 3 light hairlines, only 2 or 3 VERY light scufflines, and only a VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!!  THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK AND SHINES LIKE NEW!!!!  It is also great to find that the record plays almost as STUNNINGLY as the visual with NO skips, barely ANY clicks AT ALL, NO sticking, NO jumps, and barely ANY crackle AT ALL!!!!  There is also some background sound on playback - though this is generally only confined to the run on grooves & gaps - and is WELL behind the music, which still plays VERY well indeed!!!!  The sound quality is simply SUPERB with NO distortion and NO groovewear either!!!!  The record must grade Very Good+ if not better!!!!  Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!!  I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!!  The record also comes in its ORIGINAL 1st Press 'Square' CBS Advertising inner sleeve which is in SUPERB condition!!!!  The ORIGINAL 1st Press 'E.J.Day' Flipback Laminated MONO Cover is in GREAT condition!!!!  It has NO edge wear, NO spinal wear (apart from a few creases!), only slight corner wear (NOT through the colour!), NO splits, some light creasing (though this is generally confined to the edges - and the cover is still VERY flat looking!), NO rips, NO tears, only some minor evidence of 'tipping in' to the corners, shiny laminate, NO annotations, and NO writing!!!!  The opening edge is beautifully straight with barely ANY feathering AT ALL!!!!  Even the unlaminated back of the cover is in GREAT condition with NO grubbyness, barely ANY rubbing, NO ringwear, NO yellowing, nice flipbacks, and NO writing!!!!  The cover must grade Very Good (PROPERLY graded, NOT trashed!) if not better - and is still a VERY decent cover, with NO major defects AT ALL!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO LOCATE (ESPECIALLY AS A 100% GENIUNE UK 'EARLIEST' MONO 1ST PRESSING!) - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS INCREDIBLE OPPORTUNITY!!!!
