Description
Fantastic vanity NW press recorded live at the Salem, OR Holiday Inn back in '76. This is one of my all-time faves with Silk's bewildering vocal performance on their Elton John Medley and an all-around soulful sound. If you need more convincing, it's also been called the "quintessential U.S. vanity press" by Johan Kugelberg and "genius" by Paul Major (see his interview in that one record collector book for a glowing review). My first copy came from Gregg Turkington, one of the most original & unsung early collectors from this scene. Gregg, thanks for turning me on to this one! See my other auctions for more fun private & vanity press obscurities.
