Description
This is the original deep-groove pressing of Willie “The Lion” Smith “Harlem Memories” on 10” Dial 305. The flat rim playing surface is in near-new condition, with a high luster; perhaps played once. There are occasional tics, but the music is without any distortion – clean and crisp. The frame cover is amazingly clean and bright throughout, with just a 1” repair at the center of the bottom seam. The top of the front is signed (printed) “To a real friend and a great doctor who understands people best. To Dr. Arthur Logan from Willie The Lion Smith”. (Arthur Logan was a highly regarded physician whose patients included Duke Ellington and Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.) WE NOW ACCEPT PAYPAL.
