Description

For sale here is the blues LP "Getting Ready..." by the great Freddie King. It's the US original, released in 1971 on Shelter Records with the catalogue number SHE-8905. It not only has the coveted "Superman Egg" logo, but was also beautifully SIGNED by Freddie King with a green felt tip pen on front.
Provenance: This LP comes from the collection of one of the main European r&b collectors and researchers. He started collecting autographs in the mid 60s and met many important blues musicians in the ensuing decades. Before his death in 2021, I bought a sizeable part of his huge record collection that also included hundreds of SIGNED albums. The signature is therefore 100 % authentic and genuine and comes with a detailed »Letter of Provenance«. Please buy with confidence and don't hesitate to enquire for more info, if necessary!
Condition: The vinyl looks clean plays with occasional light background noise between VG and VG+. The cover including the signature is in beautiful M- condition. I grade it VG+/M-.
