We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office. Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has become very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our well over 18,000 positive feedback. We use an ultrasonic KLAudio machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery. We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. - Rather Obscure unknown & underrated LP in the Neil Young discography ... The only way you can get an original copy (its 40 years of age!) is hopefully find one that was taken care of - as this used but no abused and plays clean .
- Complete as first issued with double sided lyrics inner sleeve !
- A thing of slight beauty. Neil's weirdness emerges in this set of nice (but somewhat formative) songs about family life ('Stayin Power'"), unions ("Union Man"), and twin sides of politics; "Comin' Apart At Every Nail" and "Hawks & Doves". Most notable tracks are the lovely opener "Little Wing",
the riveting "Captain Kennedy" and the cryptic ("The Old Homestead"). -
- Without doubt Neil Young's most underrated album. Perhaps the reason is that many of his listeners are used to get everything served on a table. This album however leaves room for the listener to reflect or read their own things into it. The first side is quite mellow and atmospheric while the second side consists of simple country tunes. There's no 3-minutes jamming here or anything, it's all very straight forward. Still there's a slight experimental edge. There's some violins and fiddles thrown in and they make this record even more interesting.
Solid work overall. The Old Homestead and Captain Kennedy are two forgotten Neil Young classics.
