Description
This is a fine original U.S. pressing copy of the third LP by Austin, Texas, group Shiva's Headband, released on the local Ape label in 1978. The group was a key player in Austin's late '60s countercultural scene, serving as the house band at the city's Vulcan Gas Company club, and subsequently helping to finance the club Armadillo World Headquarters. Appearing seven years after their previous release, their third LP is the most hard rocking of their records. The jacket itself has light damage and residue from two stickers on the front cover, and is otherwise close to pristine with a little light creasing and corner and seam wear -- EX(+). The disc has some light scuffing, and plays with light surface noise (EX-).
I’m in the process of selling off a large personal collection amassed over two decades. All discs have been stored in plastic lined inner sleeves separate from their jackets. The jackets have been stored in plastic sleeves. I have play graded (spot checked) discs except where otherwise noted.
