Description
This is a first stereo issue UK copy of Deep Purple's first album PCS 7055. The matrix numbers are: Side 1 YEX 689 - 1 and SIDE 2 YEX 690 - 1.
This is one of the records I looked after from new and like a lot of my albums it was committed to cassette early on and not played again. I have just taken the album into Rough Trade vinyl and they classed it as EXC or even better (although they did point out that one man's EXC is another man's EXC+. I have no idea about gradings but I know for a forty four year old record it is in superb condition. The front cover is in great condition too with just a couple of dings (is this even a word?) which I have photographed. There are no scratches but a couple of marks on the vinyl which I haven't tried to clean or even brush. All in all it will sound beautiful (if you like the Purple) as it has not been played a lot and certainly not in the last thirty five years. I am not a vinyl dealer.
