SEX PISTOLS submission VIRGIN 7-inch ‘Single sided’ VDJ 24!
Original UK 7-inch ‘Single sided’ single.
Released in 1977 on the VIRGIN Label.
Catalogue number: VDJ 24 (SPOTS 001)(released originally as part of package ~ see notes below).
‘Single sided’ single was originally released as a package.
SPOTS is a reference to the package:- LP, shrink wrap, sticker, 7" single & NMTB poster.
'Submission' one-sided 7" single. B-side has a silent groove which plays from the center outwards.
Sleeve/Record: VERY GOOD/VERY GOOD+ CONDITION (*Plays FINE/EXCELLENT)
Original white paper sleeve as shown, displays touches of edge wear and light cosmetic wear.
Grades VERY GOOD.
Record Labels are clean, surfaces retain the full glossy sheen.
Has a small smooth soft. surface scuff patch on the A-side at 9 o’clock and no other visible scuffs/marks.
Also as a distinct manufacturing pressing fault on the A-side at 8 o’clock (about ¾ of the way into the track).
(Can be seen in the photographs). Neither the scuff patch nor the pressing fault, affect play.
Record grades VERY GOOD+ visually.
*Record plays FINE/EXCELLENT on both sides, emits a clean sound throughout (even the blank B-side).
