This is an original test pressing for the terrific Sex Pistols "Live N Loud" released on the official LINK label in the early 1980's.
This album was available in BLACK, PINK and GREEN vinyl, all of which are nigh on impossible to find now.
THIS IS A CLEAR VINYL TEST PRESSING WHITE LABEL PROMO
I have owned this record since 1997 when I traded it with a top folky dealer, back then he had a price tag of £250.00, since then I have searched high and low, on the internet and asked various dealers... I have not been able to find another copy out there anywhere! No references to another copy! Nobody has heard of another copy!
After some correspondence, I had been informed that this was possibly one of only five copies pressed like this!
1 of 5, the disc does have what could be a number 5 written on the 'B' side label.
Obviously during my enquireries I have been offered some silly money by ardent dealer/collector/fans... I won't even say what I was offered as it still un-nerves me to think I turned them down!!!!
This is therefore a totally unique item,
more scarce than any God Save The Queen on A&M,
rarer than any demo or promo...
all of them appear on a regular basis and demand high prices...
BUT THE CHANCES ARE YOU WILL NEVER SEE ANOTHER ONE OF THESE AGAIN!
