SEX PISTOLS - "NEVER MIND THE BOLLOCKS" - TRUE FIRST PRESSING FROM THE BATCH OF 1,000 LP'S RELEASED FOR THE ALBUM. U.K PRESSING ON VIRGIN RECORDS V2086. RELEASED IN 1977. BLANK BACK COVER WITH NO SONG LISTINGS. DEADWAX MATRIX NUMBERS ARE A3/B3. THE SONG "SUBMISSION" IS NOT INCLUDED ON THE RECORD. COVER IS NEAR MINT MINUS, VINYL AND LABELS ARE NEAR MINT. ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS CONDITION OF THIS EXTREMELY RARE ORIGINAL VERY FIRST PRESSING. HERES A LITTLE BACKGROUND INFO ON THIS RELEASE.
11 tracks on disc not including “Submission”. Pressing run of some 50,000 copies, of which 49,000 has the track listing on the rear sleeve minus “Submission”. Tracks on labels are timed, producer credits state Bill Price & Chris Thomas. All 50,000 initial pressings came with a poster and “Submission” one-sided 7in. (MAKING THIS PRESSING 50 TIMES HARDER TO FIND THEN THE LATER RELEASE WITH POSTER AND 7 INCH.)
Originally planned to be released as promo only, but eventually released commercially earlier than expected due to the rushed-out French pressing being imported to UK.
Plain pink back cover, 11 tracks only.
No poster, no freebie 7" included.
Most copies are sent to France to counterattack massive UK-imports from Barclay Records. They are also sold in the UK, Scandinavia and the USA
