This is probably the rarest record I have ever sold on eBay (and also one of the hardest to part with). You are bidding on my second and last signed Sex Pistols piece. This is my final autographed piece, so don't miss it. It is a fully signed copy of the 1-sided UK 45 'Submission'. All signatures were obtained by a close friend who followed the band during the U.S tour. This was signed around Jan 1978 (full details will be given to the winner). It is one of the highlights of a massive Pistols collection I will be auctioning off over the coming months here on eBay, so please bookmark my pages. There are a lot of repro GSTQ's and fake autographs (which you can spot a mile-off may I add - see below). I have been a Pistols fan since day 1 and have accumulated this collection over a 30 year period using my knowledge to select only the best genuine items from all over the UK.  Parting with my collection is one of the hardest things I'm ever going to do, but the time has come to do it!

Now onto the item in question. Although it's the actual autographs that are of interest here, I will quickly mention the condition of the record. It is in decent shape for its age (remember it went to America, survived one (and probably more) Sex Pistols gigs and back made it back again!) and whilst not mint it easily grades as VG with just a hairline on one side and a minute patch of bubbling to the label on the non signed side. The signed label in is fantastic condition. The band signed the label on the plain white side. All signatures are crystal clear with hardly any fading over time (just some slight fading to the signatures but it is hardly noticeable). There is a small smudge on Sid's signature but again, it is hardly noticeable and a very small patch of grubbiness between Rotten & Cooks signature. These just add to the authenticity of the piece in my eyes,  please remember that this record ahs been through a lot - is the real deal and was (man) handled by a whole band that were not known for their cleanliness or gentleness at an impromptu post show moment so of course it will not be mint (unlike all these pristine forgeries you often see - it makes you wonder how these so called 'autographed records' actually survived the rough and tumble of a Sex Pistols gig without a mark on them prior to getting signed...) All the signatures are signed boldly in blue biro (again, you must remember that biro was the most easily accessible type of pen in the 1970's - those autographs you see in pretty silver and gold markers are fakes - silver an gold markers were no even around at this time!!!). Like I said, it is easy to spot fake Sex Pistols autographs when you know what you are looking for, this is most certainly not a fake, and as I also mentioned above, the winner will get all the details of when, where and by who this was signed. You probably wont want to play this record (although it plays perfectly), and will probably want to frame it - trust me when I say it will look absolutely amazing. It is a beautiful - and is one of the best genuine signed Pistols records I have seen in 30 years of collecting. Good luck and please email me with any questions you may have, I will answer them all.
