THE RAREST OF THIS SEPTIC DEATH VINYL.
This was a special edition of the original pressing.  A mail-order only colored vinyl pressing from 1984, limited to 275 LPs, with an insert signed by Pushead.
It is also a lyric sheet.
Plus, there's a second insert with info and art.

here's a really cool thing.  A postcard, from Paul at Pusmort Records, handwritten to the guy we bought the record off of, on an original Pushead postcard in glossy black and white, and there's a Pushead stamp on the other side.  Very cool.

The first Septic Death release (1984) is also the very first Pusmort release (0012-01) and showcased a great collection of art. The front cover by Pushead, the back cover and Side B label by Chet XNO Darmstaedter, and the colored vinyl lyric sheet was illustrated by Pushead. There are a couple of different pressings.  Initially there was also a colored vinyl version available only through mail-order. The initial batch was numbered out of 275 copies. Even though no two colors of vinyl were exactly the same, there are 3 categories in which they fall. The majority of them were mostly clear (pictured below). There were also a great deal that were 'Okra' (pictured below). The rarest are those that are almost completely one solid color (green, blue, or clear). The colored vinyl version also came with a different 2-sided lyric sheet which was numbered and signed by Pushead.

See the website for the colors.  Yours is clear vinyl with slight blue swirls, but it's mostly clear.  One of the rarest vinyl pressing versions.

THE VINYL LOOKS TO BE EX+/NM-.  The cover is EX with some edgewear and a couple of corner dents, with one slight discoloration on the white part of the back cover, but all-in-all it's a framable piece of art.  They changed the cover in the future, and the colors changed from pressing to pressing.
The inserts are all EX.  Pushead's autograph/signature/signed insert & # at least EX.

As you can see in the above link, there is one person who has one for sale, not with all the same inserts, and they don't claim to even have the signed numbered insert along with it, for 100 euros, which is well over 100 dollars.  I think there's another listed on ebay for around $400 or so.

Septic Death (Boise, Idaho) was a hardcore punk band fronted by artist Brian "Pushead" Schroeder on vocals. Septic Death's music became a major influence on bands like Integrity, Citizens Arrest, Infest, and many other bands tied to the hardcore punk, thrashcore, crust punk etc. scenes. The band played only a few shows during its active years (1981 to 1986), mostly in Boise, Idaho.

Along with Schroeder, the band consisted of Paul Birnbaum on drums, Mike Matlock on bass, and Jon Taylor on guitar.

A few songs deal with current issues, but those are so depressing just to read the paper, why bring more attention than a song? Fans of Septic Death such as Dwid Hellion (of Integrity) often characterized their sound as "horror hardcore" (as stated in Integrity's "Sliver In The Hands Of Time") solely due to the lyrics and content of their songs.

See the photo(s).  Sorry about my hand in the shots, (if it is), but I try to NEVER LAY THE VINYL DOWN ON ANYTHING, unlike lots of sellers, who FREAKIN' lay records down on tables and things to photograph them!  We give them all the very clean hand or WHITE GLOVE TREATMENT, as you see in the photos, and take the pics with someone holding the vinyl in the air, never touching it, pulling it carefully from its sleeve.  Whatever we sell you is going to be in the best shape possible. We're all collectors and know that other collectors appreciate the extra mile.  I mean, there may be a smoker in the building, but he doesn't blow it into the records, and we handle them as if they might explode! (Although they won't, postal person, we promise)
