Limited Edition double 180 gram vinyl Gatefold jacket
(I can't believe I dinged this one, bottom left corner, not bad but it qualify's for the Second Shelf)
Over the years I've bought a lot of duplicate vinyl. New releases, re-issues, imports, bootlegs, whatever, just in case I needed a clean one for a party or a friend...or me! because you never know when your copy just doesn't sound new anymore! And as the rest of my collection breaths in and out with my desires, these albums get pushed around on the shelves. A lot of them have developed soft corners, and some of them have dented corners too. And some have splitting shrinkwrap. Now I see vinyl sales are getting stronger and I no longer worry about finding what I need, so with that in mind I'm clearing out my backups. If the corner is dented or creased I added a photo to show the damage. None of them are exceptionally old, but some are first releases/only releases. And like I said, every one is a duplicate. All have been stored upright with the rest of my collection, some next to my playing copy, most off to the side or down a shelf but ready to spin at a moments notice! If you're saddened by the price of a 180g re-issue, then now's your chance to get that new lp sound for a song! When they're gone, they're gone!
