This record is new and still in its original factory packaging. The original outer sleeve has a small tear along the perforation, but the record has never been removed from the sleeve, let alone played. Record will be professionally packed with a high quality record mailer. I stand behind my records. If you are not happy, you may return it for a refund. Issac Hayes had been ready to retire from recording to focus on producing and songwriting for other musicians, when Stax lost its entire back catalog in a bad split with Atlantic Records, forcing the label's entire lineup to record new material on short notice. The resulting album of extended, jammy psychedelic soul is considered one of the all-time greatest soul records by most modern critics. This record is new and still in its original factory packaging.
